Rami has over 20 years of work experience across the Middle East, Canada, and the USA working mostly in information technology and software development serving a variety of sectors including healthcare and e-health, e-Government, and financial sector.

Rami is the CEO for the Jordan Air Ambulance Center, a governmental center that provides lifesaving medical air evacuation service from remote areas to specialized medical facilities in Amman.

Prior, Rami was the CEO for Electronic Health Solutions (EHS), a private non-profit private company that is designated by the government of Jordan to transform healthcare in Jordan through IT and that is implementing a program initiated by Royal Decree to implement electronic health records in all public sector hospitals under the name Hakeem. EHS is a 300 employees company running an annual portfolio of projects at a value of USD 20 million. Previous experience also includes working as a Consulting Director with Devoteam Group (French publicly traded IT consultancy) leading the architecture and e-business verticals across the Middle East, a solutions director with Estarta Software Solutions, a Leading Jordanian software company and as a management consultant with John Molson, a management consulting Bureau in Montreal.

As accomplished leader, Rami’s achievement includes taking EHS from a 50 man company handling 2 projects per year to a 300+ man company implementing 60 projects per year. Achievements also include leading and implementing major global IT and e-government achievements including the Qatar e-Gov portal in 2002, the Saudi Home Computer initiative, the Gov of Jordan e-Government portal in 2005, and the technology architecture and interoperability roadmap for the KSA Yesser Program in 2007, as well as various automation projects with Thomson Financial in Boston.

 

Rami hold a B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering form King’s College, University of London, an M.Sc. in Communications Systems from University of Wales at Swansea, and an MBA from Concordia University of Montreal.
